2012 The Year of Black Women in Rock

Everything has it's season, and I believe 2012 is "The Year of Black Women in Rock". During this production, I have asked every interviewee how many black women in rock they think there are.  The estimates have ranged from a super-duper low of 1, to a super low of 25.
 
The law of attraction has been in effect since I began this journey.  Black women in rock have reached out to me from across the U.S., from Haiti, Canada, Great Britain and Germany, to Japan.  I don't know how many black women in rock there are yet.  But I do know there are far more than a mere 25.
 
That's why NiceandRough.com is calling all black women in rock and the fans who love them!  We want this site to be the epicenter for this powerful community of women to share their music, news and media with the people who love them.  Members can also stay informed on the "Nice & Rough" documentary project, concert tour and other events as well.  
 
So Spread the word!  Here are a few simple ways:
