Betty Davis should be in there, plain and simple. She was the innovator of the merging of funk and hard rock. Without her there would be no Prince, Living Color, Rage Against the Machine, Korn or Lenny Kravitz. The Runaways made a big deal of being rough and explicit in their sex appeal, but the good Sista Davis had already been there for years. This is typical, really; black innovators don't get respect.
